PilotSense

Pilot fatigue should be visible.

Today, fatigue is the largest unmeasured safety variable in general aviation. Airlines have spent decades and millions on fatigue risk management. Flight schools, clubs, and Part 135 operators have not had the same tools. Over a long enough timeline, that gap costs lives. PilotSense exists to close it — by giving operators objective, real-time visibility into pilot readiness so they can make better decisions about who flies today.

Team

Patrick Ronveaux

Co-Founder, CEO & CTO

Patrick grew up inside aviation. His father is a commercial pilot and a distributor of aircraft engines; his brother is also a pilot. He started PilotSense after watching operators at every level — flight schools, flying clubs, corporate departments — make daily fatigue-related go/no-go calls based on gut feel rather than data. Patrick built PilotSense's full technical stack himself, including the iOS app, Firebase backend, and Next.js admin dashboard. He's working toward his private pilot certificate, and is mentored by Will Gilbert, co-founder of Bodhi.

Advisory

Cornelius Bekker

Advisor & Board Member

Cornelius is a sitting Corporate Aviation Manager for a Part 91 flight department in San Jose, California, and holds an ATPL with type ratings across general aviation through the Boeing 737. He started the first wholly Part 91 management company in South Africa, has owned and operated his own flight school, and has flown and operated extensively across Africa, the Middle East, India, and the United States. Cornelius advises PilotSense on industry strategy, operator relationships, and the operational realities of fatigue risk management at the corporate level.

Breno De Jesus Medici

Co-Founder & COO

Breno leads PilotSense's operations, including Brazilian market development and strategic partnership work with aviation organizations, insurers, and industry associations. He owns the relationship-building side of growing a design-partner network — the operators and flight departments that will shape how PilotSense is built over the next twelve months.

Maksim Pekar

Cofounder and Head of Growth

Maksim leads PilotSense's growth efforts across the flight school and corporate aviation markets. An Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University student with deep roots in aviation education, he manages go-to-market strategy and the pilot-school beta pipeline. His family's background in digital marketing (InSegment) informs the brand and outreach infrastructure behind PilotSense.
